RailGallery supports the “No Waste” strategy that is promoted by the ACT government.

We are based on three environmental focus principles – Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.

RailGallery is constantly finding better ways to protect the environment during our business operations.

Reduce
Reducing the use is the most efficient way to help the environment, but graphic design is heavily involved with paper usage. So, we are minimising the use of paper, for example, by printing only when required, and suggesting clients to print according to their suitable printing quantity and eliminate un-necessary packages.

Since RailGallery has a passion for public transport, we prefer to use public transport when meeting clients or during site visits whenever possible. This is not only reduces the carbon emission, we believe it is more sustainable way to travel and to build a role model in the industry.

We are also seeking better ways to conserve water and electricity usage, such as during the computer replacement, we will choose to purchase models with less power consumption, and other strategies like using energy saver for light and other office equipments to minimise the use of electricity.

Recycle
Recycling is one of the key factors in our environmental focus, by recycling our paper, ink cartridges, computers and office equipments, which reduce our landfill size in the long term.

Reuse
Simple ideas also help our environment, by reusing the blank page of printing papers, or purchasing recycle printing paper, or even using rechargeable batteries, these strategies help to create a sustainable environment.
